Groups & Courses
LIFE GROUPS are the hub of community at Mountain View. They are made up of adults who meet throughout the week to support one another and grow as disciples of Jesus. There are men's and women's groups, as well as co-ed options, and they are built around a variety of content (sermon discussion, topical study, etc). The primary purpose of Life Groups is to build real relationships and grow in our intimacy with God and one another, so groups are intended to stay together beyond a single season.
COURSES are designed to equip believers with a greater knowledge of God as well as themselves. Foundations is a course that is great for anyone who is new to following Jesus or new to Mountain View. It covers topics like "What is Salvation?," "How Do I Read the Bible?," "Why is Church Important?" etc. We'd recommend everyone start with Foundations (it's also a pathway to church membership).
But there is also an "elective" course every semester for those ready to go deeper. This Fall, that's Essentials of Theology. Electives will require a bit more outside reading and work, but all courses are designed to have a clear start and end date.
Registration now open.
All groups & Courses start the week of sept. 28
